Installation & Care

Installation Tips
Thoughtfully designed for effortless display, every Urban Icons print is created for presence and built to last, crafted to live beautifully in your space. For best results, we recommend installing your piece in a cool, dry environment to maintain its condition over time. Each framed artwork arrives ready to hang with discreet, pre-attached hardware for a seamless and stable finish. To perfect your installation, use the included premium hanging materials for a secure mount, ensure the wall surface is clean and capable of supporting the artwork, and use a spirit level for flawless alignment. Heavier pieces may require wall anchors for added stability, and we always recommend handling with clean hands or cotton gloves to avoid smudges or oils.

Caring for Your Art
To preserve the clarity and beauty of your artwork for years to come, it is important to care for the acrylic glazing properly. Always begin by gently blowing away any dust or debris rather than wiping directly. Avoid using paper towels, dry cloths, or household cleaners that contain ammonia or alcohol, as these can damage the surface. Instead, use only soft, lint-free cloths. For regular upkeep, wipe gently with a dry cloth or slightly dampen with warm water or a mild dish soap solution if needed. For added clarity, a dedicated acrylic cleaner such as Novus #1 can be applied with a clean, lint-free cloth, while light surface scratches may be reduced using Novus #2 or another acrylic-safe polish.

Quick Care Guide

Always handle your artwork with clean hands or cotton gloves to avoid marks. Dust should be removed gently with a soft, lint-free cloth, never wiped directly across the surface. Avoid all cleaners containing ammonia or alcohol. For the best clarity, use an acrylic-specific cleaner such as Novus #1, and for light scratches, finish with an acrylic-safe polish like Novus #2.
